County Recycling Drives
Defenders partners with the County’s Department of Health in organizing and publicizing recycling drives for non-curbside recycling items. The Defenders acts as a partner in the collection of certain items.
Accomplishments
Partners successfully offer four drives each year in diverse areas of the county and by partnering with municipalities.
Goals
To reach out to the public with the opportunity to recycle items rather than send them to landfills, such as electronics, Styrofoam, batteries, clothing and fluorescent tubes and bulbs.
