The Environmental Defenders of McHenry County host an annual Big Fall Book Sale September 21- October 5. It will be located at the Algonquin Township Road District Building B Garage.
There will be a members-only preview sale Friday, September 20 6-8pm. If you are not an Environmental Defenders’ member but would like to participate in the pre-sale, you will be able to join on site at a special membership price of $20 for a year’s membership, and gain access to the pre-sale. The sale begins Saturday, September 21 9am-4pm, and continues running from 10am-4pm through Saturday, October 5. It will be closed on Sundays. On Saturday, September 28 we will be open after the specialized recycling event ends at approximately noon.
There will be thousands of like-new books available for purchase.
