MCSEEP with Hannah Pfaff, MCSEEP Director

MCSEEP, the McHenry County Schools Environmental Education Program, has been a highly impactful and successful program in our area for nearly 40 years. Beginning with the efforts of Pat Dieckoff and aided by many other individuals in the environmental movement along the way, we bring hands-on, high-energy presentations to our community schools focusing on natural resource use and conservation. Starting with preschool age explorations into the natural wonders of our planet, into elementary schools with focus on recycling, compost, energy use, and biodiversity, we build straight into middle schools with watersheds’ connection to land use, climate change and green careers. We work closely with McHenry County Planning and Development, Environmental Defenders, and a family of other organizations in the community. We hope to share more about our program’s specifics and show how vital MCSEEP is to continue to inspire future generations’ awareness about our precious planet and empower them to act when they can to protect and preserve it!

5pm begins our social hour to mix, mingle and meet like-minded peers. Presentation starts at 5:45 pm! We encourage all guests to order food before the presentations begin or make a dining room table reservation for after the presentation.

Food and beverages available from Duke’s menu: before, during or after the event. Kitchen closes at 8pm.
