DESCRIPTION:The City of McHenry\, Boone-Dutch Creeks Watershed Alliance and the Environmental Defenders of McHenry County invite you to join us for a litter cleanup on Boone Creek. This event will begin at 9 a.m. and we plan to be done by 11 a.m. Volunteers are asked to wear work clothes\, gloves\, and boots and to park in the Public Works parking lot at 1415 Industrial Drive\, McHenry. All necessary equipment and supplies and snacks will be provided. Please bring your own water bottle. If you have any questions about this event\, please contact boonedutch@gmail.com or 815-687-0350. RSVPs are not needed but would be appreciated to the email and phone number listed so we can plan for refreshments and supplies. Invite a friend and come help us make a positive difference in our environment. Enjoy time outdoors!

DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, May 14th\, you are invited by our Water and Natural Resources Protection Action Team and the Boone-Dutch Creeks Watershed Alliance to help clean up the mainstem of Boone Creek that runs through the City of McHenry. This event\, held in collaboration with the City of McHenry and the Fox Waterway Agency\, will begin at 1 pm and conclude at about 3 pm\, or when all the trash has been removed. Volunteers are asked to wear work clothes\, gloves\, and boots and to park in the Public Works parking lot at 1415 Industrial Dr. in McHenry\, located behind the Jewel grocery store. All necessary equipment as well as snacks will be provided. Please bring your own water.
