SUMMARY:Quarterly Green Screen Film Showing: Thirst for Justice
DESCRIPTION:In partnership with McHenry County College Sustainability Center\, The Environmental Defenders of McHenry County’s Education Action Team will be showing Thirst for Justice as part of their quarterly Green Screen film series. The showing is free and will take place Monday\, April 25 at the McHenry County College Luecht Auditorium at 7pm. Doors will open at 6:30pm. \nThe film is the story of two communities who enlisted the help of scientists to prove their water had become dangerously contaminated. The movie is one hour and ten minutes long\,and will be followed by discussion of lead service line replacement legislation led by Iyana Simba\, City Programs Director\, Illinois Environmental Council.
