For current SWALCO schedule and information. SWALCO (Solid Waste Agency of Lake County) hosts several area Household Chemical Waste events during the spring, summer and fall.

Mobile HCW collections sponsored by SWALCO are for all Illinois residents. You do not need to be a resident of the community where the collection takes place in order to participate. All mobile events are held on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted.

NAPERVILLE Household Hazardous Waste Facility, 156 Fort Hill Drive, Naperville, IL 60540. The facility is open Saturdays and Sundays, excluding holidays, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. CLICK for more info.
LAKE COUNTY The Solid Waste Agency of Lake County (SWALCO) currently operates a long-term household chemical waste collection program for Lake County residents. Information and a collection schedule can be found on the SWALCO Web site, or by calling 847-336-9340.
