Partner on Roadside Prairie Habitat Project
with the loss of nearly all prairie habitat in the state of Illinois, this project helps to restore miles of roadside to prairie helping to create a pollinator pathway throughout McHenry County.
Accomplishments
Four miles were planted with native plants for pollinators thus far through a partnership of The Defenders and the McHenry Township Road District.
Goals
To increase the connectivity of habitat for all pollinators by planting native plants.
