Charging Stations for Electric Cars
Thanks to generous grants, The Environmental Defenders partners with interested towns and the county on implementing charging station projects.
Accomplishments
Charging stations with capacity to charge two cars simultaneously have been placed in the City of Woodstock, the City of Crystal Lake and at the County Courthouse.
Goals
To increase electric vehicle usage in the county by providing more parking spaces that offer electric charging by partnering with municipalities and the county government that then commit to infrastructure and connectivity.
