DESCRIPTION:You’re Invited! On Tuesday\, April 11\, The Illinois Environmental Council (IEC) and the Environmental Defenders of McHenry County are hosting an event focused on conservation efforts in the county and across the state. We’ll present information about the Illinois is Beautiful Coalition and Campaign that aims to support President Biden’s America the Beautiful goals\, which are to protect and conserve 30% of land\, water\, and ocean by 2030. IEC will also share updates about the conservation and open space issues that IEC and our partners are working on at the state capitol and beyond. We’re excited to hear from attendees about their perspectives.\n\nThe event will be held at MCC’s Shah Center located at 4100 W Shamrock Lane in McHenry from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
