Sure rain gardens are beautiful\, but also provide important habitat for butterflies and birds and are an important citizens’ solution to help protect our precious water supply. \nNancy Gonsiorek of The WPPC will explain what makes rain gardens so effective\, which plants are suitable and where to find them\, and how to plant a rain garden in your own yard. \nThe WPPC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization is dedicated to promoting the use of native plants in the landscape through preservation\, education and propagation.
