Citizens Utility Board (CUB) will lead the April 5 Green Drinks event diving into ways renters and homeowners can access energy efficiency and cost saving programs. During this presentation, you will receive information on:
-Building Decarbonization
-The benefits of building electrification
-New tax credits and rebates for home energy improvements available through the Inflation Reduction Act
-Heat Pumps and Induction Stoves
-Free programs designed to save you energy and money
About the speaker:
David Weaver is the Carbon Free Buildings Coordinator at Citizens Utility Board where he splits his time working on policy and outreach. He is the primary author of their Guide to the Inflation Reduction Act. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Midwest Building Decarbonization Coalition, and is a member of the Illinois Environmental Council’s Young Professionals Board.
This event will be hybrid, for those who are unable to attend in person.
Pre-registration is required for Zoom attendance, but not for in-person attendance.
