Topics To Discuss:
Join us for an interactive conversation regarding the dangers of diesel pollution in our community and to discuss policy levers that Illinois can use to transition our medium and heavy duty transportation sector. This conversation will be modeled after the Listen, Lead, Share conversations that were held prior to writing and passing the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act.
About the Speaker:
Jessica Beverly will be our facilitator. She has years of experience working in clean transportation for the Sierra Club Chapter of Illinois and with the Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition. Jessica helped draft current policies in place within CEJA, participated in the ICC implementation stakeholder process, and will help discuss and guide the conversation as we learn more about diesel pollution in McHenry County and how we can collectively address this problem.
This event will be hybrid, for those who are unable to attend in person.
Pre-registration is required for Zoom attendance, but not for in-person attendance.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
Socializing begins at 5pm in-person, program begins at 5:45 pm.
