The Green Spot Reused Books & Gift Store Woodstock. Volunteers help sort and price book donations, Mondays – Fridays between 11AM and 4PM.  Sales help is needed as well Tuesdays-Fridays and Saturdays from 11AM to 3PM. Pam Johnson at thegreenreadbookstore@gmail.com

Styrofoam Recycling Time commitment: about 4 hours each month
We need help in 2 positions:
A. Sorting/Bagging
Remove trash from bags, Remove tape and stickers, Break down Styrofoam into smaller pieces for transport, Prepare bags for Wednesday morning pick up, Two Available Shifts each week: 1.) Tuesday afternoons/evenings 2.) Fridays/weekends.
B. Collection/driving
Collect prepared bags from 3 sites (Woodstock, Algonquin and
Crystal Lake) using a 26-foot UHaul truck, Transport to warehouse in Elgin, Wednesday during the day, about 4 hours. Other Weekdays are
also possible, but are the exception, rather than the rule, Work in teams of 2.
